Do not attempt to cash a Payment Logic check if it appears to be forged.

Top
It has come to our attention that Payment Logic members are receiving forged Payment Logic checks, not generated or mailed from Payment Logic directly. If you have any question about the validity of a check, please contact us to verify its authenticity before attempting to cash the check. It is against the law to cash or deposit a forged check. If you attempt to cash or deposit a forged check, you will be subject to investigation and possible arrest at the discretion of your local law enforcement agency.

Use caution when using instant cash wire transfer services

Top
Payment Logic strongly encourages its members to avoid using instant cash wire transfer services. Payments by these methods have proven to be unsafe when paying someone the buyer doesn't know.

Monitor your account regularly for suspicious activity.

Top
Prevent problems by staying alert and catching any suspicious activity early. We recommend that you log into your Payment Logic and PayBax Exchange accounts frequently to ensure that all the transactions listed are legitimate.

Be suspicious of any email that request personal information.

Top
Be cautious of other emails that request you to click a link and submit your financial or personal information. If in doubt, call or contact the institution first to verify the authenticity of the email. Do not click on any links in this type of email if you cannot verify it is authentic. Only enter your financial information on secure Web sites. Check that a Web site is secure by looking for the closed lock symbol near the bottom of your browser window. And, of course, use a payment method such as Payment Logic, which lets you pay without sharing your financial information with the person receiving your money.

Understand the buyer and seller relationship.

Top
We cannot ensure that a buyer or a seller you are dealing with will actually complete the transaction. Payment Logic will take reasonable steps to help facilitate communication between parties to encourage satisfied buyers and sellers. Payment Logic however is not liable for any purchase, service, or program that uses the Payment Logic system. At any time you send funds to a third party you are doing so at your own risk. We do not issue refunds if a product, service or membership program turns out to not be what you thought it was, or if the seller does not fulfill on commitments.
